- 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Tear off four pieces of aluminum foil, each about 12 inches long, and lay them shiny-side down on a work surface.
- Divide the asparagus evenly among the four foil sheets, piling it in the center of each piece.
- Place one salmon fillet on top of the asparagus in each packet, then drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, pepper, and dill if using.
- Top each salmon fillet with 2–3 lemon slices.
- Fold the foil up and over the salmon and asparagus, crimp the edges tightly to seal each packet, leaving a little air space inside for steam to circulate.
- Place the packets on a baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Carefully open each packet (steam will escape), transfer the contents to a plate, and serve immediately.
